My Goals!
In Writing I am learning to...
- Go back and edit my story.
- check punctuation and spelling.
In Reading I am learning to...
- Find out words that I don't know by using a dictionary or searching these words up (Hard vocabulary).
- Read faster and understand what I am reading.
In Maths I am learning to ...
- Use my multiplication basic facts that I know, to work out tricky word problems.
- Use my variety of strategies to work these word problems.
You do need to edit your stories, because you write like you talk - rapidly and without taking a breath haha! Using a dictionary is a great way to help comprehend new words, it will sink in more if you have to look it up, rather than someone just telling you what it means. Keep up the good work with improving your maths skills - remember practice makes perfect!!
